TD Retail Card Customer Service Management, Hi, My wife made the September monthly payment ( purchase of Samsung Cell Phone) over the phone, she keyed in her account number on the cell phone but she was not aware she keyed in 2 additional digits at the time. So the payment was rejected and we didn't know until we received the collection bill in our mail. My wife immediately called in the collection " department and made the payment of $82. At the time the agent who answered my wife's call told her that she didn't see any late fee was assessed. If it does appear in my billing statement the following month, just give a callback!. Today I and my wife called TDL customer service and each one of us was on hold 70 minutes. My wife called the collection department and explained to the agent JH3 ( James). He was very helpful by submitting the request for a reverse late fee charge of $27, then he said I was charged for another $25 insufficient fund for mis keyed account information. My wife's account has more than enough funds to withdraw! We never heard such a thing we get punished for mis keyed at the fine of $25. My wife called her checking account bank " Security First Bank" Bismarck, ND and the bank said they never charge $25 fee it just because of keyed in the wrong number on the account. My wife spoke with 3 agents in the collection department, the first agent she spoke to in September misled her to believe that we don't have a late fee assessed. The second agent Brandae was very impatient, rude, and just wanted to end the phone without looking into our situation. The third agent " James, JH3" finally helped with reversing the late fee. I am asking you to remove the $25 mis keyed penalty as an " insufficient fund penalty". Thank you! TDL customer service is so bad, a long time on hold! We hope this is our last time dealing with Samsung and TDL like this!
