Company refused the requested refund after 1 day

I used ScoreSense for a number of years. I always knew what I was getting for my money. However, on 27 June I decided I no longer needed their services and cancelled my subscription. When I checked my bank statement a coupe days later I saw a charge from them dated 26 June for the next installment. Naturally, I asked them to refund that payment. They refused because I hadn't cancelled before they billed me. What has that got to do with anything? Since they didn't provide the service, they shouldn't keep the money. This after several years of doing business tells me they are more interested in your money than your welfare. User's recommendation: Most people don't really need this service, they just think they do. Save your money.
