Company does not take responsibility for a big screw up

My husband and I had just purchased a brand new build and decided to go to the Trail appliances on Rupert Street, Vancouver BC. Bob Lee was the sales associate we dealt with and was helpful during the sales process but lack thereof after he made his sale and got his commission. The total came to $15,000 and we gave sufficient 2 months time for ordering and delivery. So, delivery was scheduled for 5 days before our move in date and when the appliances came we only got half of what we ordered; the most important, cooktop, oven and refrigerator was missing. The driver was just as confused as we were and told us that was all they had for us. Needless to say we were quite perturbed. We called Bob and he told us he'll see what happened and that he'll call us back right away. We waited anxiously and 2 hours later (all the while our installer was standing by for instructions)... he called to give us some kind of excuse as to why it's not there and fail to mention why he did not call to give us the heads up about everything being delayed. On top of that, Bob said they don't know when the fridge will arrive! At this point my husband and I were livid. This is inexcusable service and he lacked any responsibility to fix things. When we ask that Trail provided a temporary fridge to our family before the one we order arrives they said no they won't do that. So here we are left with no fridge for an indefinite amount of time... moving into the home in 2 days with 2 young children. We will never ever spend our money at Trail again and will warn everyone we know not to as the customer service and after care is simply appalling and for a big company is inexcusable. User's recommendation: Don't buy here unless you don't care about customer service.
