The card used for auto pay was stolen and the payment was obviously declined. With hundreds of other bills you just don't keep track of each ones payments, hence auto pay. Asked me to pay another $215, then reinstatement. 30 degrees in the house and not hot water and my wife has to be at home all day in this. On top of that they said we now have to pay $113 a month for 9months???? There's other options out there now in Franklin county, and Columbia has some competition, at least with billing and service, GET RID OF COLUMBIA GAS. It is completely wrong to turn on someone's heat in the winter, they can keep it in and still collect all money due. I'm switching asap.
