Colour of lipstick lid doesn’t match normal colour

Hi. I have used MAYBELLINE superstay colour no. 145 for years . I recently ordered 3 online as it was on offer 3 for 2 . The colour on the top is completely different from the colour I use . It is 2/3 shades paler !! I dont want to open them as the colour looks far too pale . Can you explain if there has been any changes as I really do t like the colour and will return them .
