Different names, same manipulative and abusive owner, a predator of the kindhearted. Original review posted by user Aug 30, 2012 The company's owner has a particular talent as a predator of people. He has a tendency to rob and steal from his employees to line his own pockets, finding any excuse to remove hours from time cards and never paying overtime in order to avoid paying high worker's comp fees. (sounds like insurance fraud to me) You can never express an enjoyment or desire for doing a particular task, he considers that as payment enough. (Yes! He will not pay you to do something you like, because you liked it!) In his opinion workers are to work hard at all times and the definition of work is something that is not enjoyable. Tree work is dangerous and he does not care about people's safety, only how much he has to pay for worker's comp!  If you consider yourself as an ethical, moral person, you may wish to avoid working here. You will be ordered to do things that will diminish your self image as a human being. As stated above, the boss is quite skilled at the art of predatory practices. He will start out asking you to do small, seemingly harmless, yet questionable things. After a few months, you will be getting screamed at for doing things on work-orders (your job) that no "one would see anyway". In time, after enough screaming and yelling sessions have occured, and you are completly demoralized and you are starting to question your own self worth, you will be told to put your personal safety at risk or break laws so he can make more money. (Note: if you manage to maintain you self esteem, you will likely be fired or more likely, forced to quit, resulting in loss of unemployment bennies)  What makes all of this worse is that you will never be paid based upon you value, worth or accomplishments, you will always be paid the absolute minimum amount possible in order to keep you coming back for more abuse. (It's kinda like he's beating a dog, then offering it a small treat so that it will come back to be beaten again. The problem is, he has to offer more and more enticing "treats" to get the dog to return. Eventually, the dog wants too much to return or it bites him, this review for example, resulting in the need to replace the dog so that he may start the cycle over.) Futher, while he screams, yells, calls you names and fights so hard to steal $10-$100 from your check by not paying you for hours you worked (happens almost weekly), he spends as much time as possible at go-go bars, at his shore house, riding around on his Harley, gambling in Atlantic City, ocean fishing on his expensive boat, buying horses and various expensive toys and trinkets for his fake-breasted (I wonder who paid for those) girlfriend.  In my humble opinion, the only way to fix this company is to shut it down completely. It simply makes no contribution to the economy or society in which it operates. (The owner's highest priority is to take as much as he can from everyone and everything regardless of laws or regulations)
