Very disappointed with the after sales service

Less than 3 years ago I purchased a beautiful Fendi bag for $946. The lining started to shred & caused small visible tears on the outside of the bag. As a 67 year old customer who owns 4 other Fendi bags, a Fendi wallet etc. I contacted customer care, explained my disappointment in the way this high end bag, used only occasionally, wore. It seemed apparent it was a manufacturing defect. Quality control indicated the material was no longer available so no repair could be made. This I understand. However , they also stated that their warranty covers bags for up to 2 years & therefore they could offer no alternative solutions such as a product exchange or partial refund. They claimed this was not a manufacter’s defect! My Hope was to purchase another Fendi bag but after this unreasonable stonewall mentality,offering no solutions , no partial compensation & awful post purchase customer service, I will never buy another Fendi product. Buyer beware.
