The Customer is NOT right
I called the Des Moines Register early in November to cancel my subscription. The man I talked to said your subscription is done November 26, so would you like to take in until than. I said alright. I had to leave to take cre of my daughter and did not get back until January 2, 2018. Here I find all these Sunday newspapers in my house. I tried to call many times, but always got the message I would have to wait for an 1 hour 13 minutes or 1 hour 23 minutes (not sure that is exact, but it it close). I finally called and they let me put my number in for a call back. They never called back. I called them today 01/15/18 and the person I talked to said that the note that was left was that I call and cancel when I got back. I never said that. The lady told me that her note said that I would call on November 26 to cancel. I get home January 2 and have all these Newspapers. Didn't matter. She was implying that I was lying, so I said just sent me the bill and hung uip. That Des Moines Register has GREAT customer service.
