I just moved into an apartment building which has an exclusive contract with DirecPath for TV service. I called yesterday to set up my account and arrange for service. I spoke with Douglas. Douglas set up my account and told me that the technician would be here some time today between 8am and 5pm to do the installation. I thought it was appalling that he could not give me a smaller window, but he kept saying that it depended on what worked for the technician's schedule between 8 and 5. I waited today as instructed by your employee Douglas. No technician, no phone call fro anyone. I wasted my entire day doing as I was told by Douglas. When I called after 5pm to ask what was going on, I was then told that that's not the way it works for my apartment building. Now I need to wait for 24 to 48 hours to get a call from a dispatcher to tell me when my appointment is. I find it completely appalling that I am told one set of instructions by one person to waste my entire day to now be told I have to wait another 24 to 48 hours for a phone call from a dispatcher to tell me when I can have an appointment. No clue as to when the appointment will be, so I guess I am supposed to be ready to drop everything until DirecPath finds it convenient to give me service. I am sorry that I must do tolerate this treatment and complete lack of respect for customers. Get it together.
