Contracted with TM Fano to replace boat dock with retaining wall, landscaping and beach. Gave contractor $10,500 up front - big mistake. Said contractor forged signature to get Permit, excavated existing dock then left us in limbo - did not complete work, then sent extortion letter demanding more money to be sent in a Cashiers Check to a PO Box to get work done. Contract is 6 weeks overdue, property is in a shambles and devalued. Said contractor apparently bailing to Cleveland. All this started in November, 2015!!!! We have copies of Contract, cashed checks, letter demanding money, etc. Complaints have been sent to Ohio Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, local Media and local law enforcement.
