This is a premium Chinatown gift store about one of two in the area. Located at 811 7th Str NW in Washington, DC. I have been in the store over the years but despite what Yelp says they dont seem very friendly at all towards me! And guess what? I am Asian Chinese American----just like those ladies in the store! They look at me like I am from Mars and NEVER offer me any help. If its any OTHER person they rush to help! So insulting! And they look upon my spending money there as if its not significant enough. Always sort of sneer at my purchases. Well I am surprised they are open at all during COVID. They make so much money they can sneer at me for a poor Asian Chinese American female! They laugh and never ever offer to let me converse with them about their pharma herbs! They are sooo paranoid now about COVID because the aisles are so narrow they SPRAY Lysol disinfectant on anything I touch even before I leave the store. When I walk in its as if they see a ghost or burglar walking in! And yeah I LOOK LIKE A TYPICAL ASIAN CHINESE WOMAN JUST LIKE THEM!!!! I am not even ugly! They are so weird and full of themselves why dont they just take nice long vacation like all the other restaurants and cafes??? You people why dont you please just wait till JUNE OR JULY WHEN ALL THE TOURISTS COME BACK!!! You will be happy then can wait on them hand and foot because right now I can see you dont like ANYONE in your store. Just go home and safely count your money there and make sure you SPRAY LOTS OF DISINFECTANT ON IT. User's recommendation: As long as you look like you are richie rich.
