Locked in to overpriced credit card processor who is not able to conform to new government regulations

Desco software company was recently sold and instead of things getting better as promised-it has gotten worse. They mandated the use of CAYAN merchant services account for credit card processing without making it clear to the companies who use it. CAYAN charges extremely high processing rates and would not update us on their compliance which in turn effects our compliance with the regulations that take effect in October. Today I found out that DESCO is only writing their software to accept CAYAN's requirement so we will have to continue to work with them AND CAYAN has absolutely no idea of when they will be ready to work with service contractors-they aren't even ready to handle store fronts. We've been a loyal DESCO customer for over 7 years and are feeling like we just got the shaft.
