Upmc mercy surgeon with the first letter of last name "R" performed two additional medical procedures that didn't meet the standard of care and he didn't tell me anything about beforehand while I was under anesthesia. I suspect I was being used as a training tool for the resident (who i found out afterward "assisted" with the procedures). As a result I was exposed to extra radiation..tissue damage (doc said he found damage but didn't fix it and said it was old...I doubt that. When I tried to ask the doc about it he refused to speak with me. And there were a bunch of violations during the whole process from start to finish that indicate poor quality of care. I could write a chapter. User's recommendation: AVOID.
