When we moved into this house, we left a deposit of $2000.00 with th rental agent. About a year later Arsenault calls and tells us he is taking over managing the property. While we rented his house we made minor repairs and painted (with Daniel Arsenaults permission) we asked him on several occasions to fix the leaking pipes in the bathroom. He refused. He came to our house once but he was incoherent and really unprofessional. We also told him that the roof needed replaced, but he refused to fix that until 2 years later when the bedroom ceiling caved in from rainwater. He would call us at all hours of the day and night and talk nonsense. My husband and I used to argue over who would have to talk to him! When we finally found another place to live we cleaned the house, repainted all the rooms and painted the front and back porch. Daniel Arsenault assured us we would get our deposit back. I also had a washer and dryer that I didn't want to move so I offered to sell it for $200.00. After we had moved out Daniel said he would send us our deposit and the money for the washer and dryer. He kept putting me off, emailing that he would "send a check on tuesday, then thursday" etc. After a month my husband talked to him and demanded our money. He sent us $700.00. This man kept $1500.00 of my money. His reason? "There was water damage in the bathroom" YES! From the broken, leaking pipe we had told him about and he refused to fix. So how is that my fault? I can't sue him in small claims court because he does not have a permanent address. I can only hope that others read these complaints and stay as far away from him as possible. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CREATURE!
