I have a high pile carpet; (not truly a *** and I have tried several models including a Shark to vacuum said rug. However, the Eureka with the suction selector has been the ONLY vacuum to handle the job. I have several pets and I run the vacuum every day and I just want to say 'THANK YOU' for making my daily job much, much easier! (The vacuum belt broke recently and I almost cried because I was worried it couldn't be replaced; however, we did replace it and the vacuum is a good as NEW!)
