My wife and I experienced a slow water damage blowing *** in the kitchen ceiling. Our insurance adjuster quickly had a restoration company come in the next day. He gave us no choice in the company. The company was Affordable Restoration Solutions out of Lakewood, WA.. Four employees followed each other into our house. One employee had a startled look on his face as if this was a new country to him. All four were Hispanics. Not one of them spoke English! Later it was evident that they had no professional training what so-ever. They smashed and tore down half our kitchen like a bar room brawl. They didn’t inform us that the bottom cabinets needed to be emptied and when I remembered, it was too late. They had thrown everything into large black plastic bags, as if it were all garbage. Everything was scattered in the bags and somethings were broken and cooking powders were everywhere. I was in the bedroom with my wife, who has medical conditions. They never came to us and asked us if we wanted to keep the counter top. I guess we just thought they would leave it. By the time we woke up to want was going on, they were gone. Things that were not junk, by no means, were missing; like my wife’s favorite stainless steel baking sheet and a metal cupcake sheet and our working garbage disposer was gone and other various things that should have still been here, were gone. We would advise you to never use this company if you need a caring and professional restoration company.
