ford escape, pre-mature rust

1

Dear Ford, This is my 2nd Escape and I have generally been happy with it. The one BIG problem is with rust on my driver side rear quarter panel just above my wheel. It is the only place I have rust and believe that it is due to a manufacturing defect in your processing. All of the other 3 fenders are fine and don't have any sign of rust. Likewise I have seen many other escapes of this same model. Some of them exhibit the same rust spot in exactly the same place. My family and I have owned several Fords in my lifetime, and I would like to continue to buy them. I would appreciate if you would be willing to help fix this rust on my vehicle that is only 7 years old, and certainly a high quality Ford vehicle should not experience any rust for years beyond 7. Please let me know how to proceed to get the rust fixed -- thank you. Sincerely, Paul Getz
