Our Ipad had a cracked screen, so after some research for local repair agents in Cornwall, where we live near Penzance,this company Ipad Repair.com was listed as being in Liskeard, approx 35 miles away. As per previous complaints, the initial phone converstaionfrom them to my cell phone was very encouraging, they said they would send mails re the repair order for my Ipad, they would do the repair within 24 to 48 hours, and post the IPad back to me. They said they would email me twice with an order acknowledgement containing a number and a second with a label so UPS could pick it up the next day. They took 17.50 as a card payment to confirm the order. They said to call on the number they had called me on if I had any problems. No emails turned up, so I sent loads of mails back via their website but was totally ignored. Their phone number didn't register in my phone when I looked....! UPS called to check a convenient pick up time, but I had to say I had no idea where the Ipad was going for repair....so cancelled the pickup. Only when I checked my bank statement did I find who had taken my money... I called them on the land line today 0161 789 3355 to try get a repayment, and am taking my Ipad into Truro to get it fixed The three phonecallsto them so far have not been successful in getting a rebate. I cant speak with Admin, weho the salesteam say I have to speak to, and one of the guys told me this morning that the " deposit" was not refundable! I will be trying to find an email address as he promised to send me the one for admin, but guess what.....nothing hads arrived and its now gone 2PM.
