Original review posted by user Dec 14, 2019 My cruise ship (MSC) had a cheerleader on board that told us that Diamonds International and its sister company Tanzanite International were the "Best" place to purchase jewelry. They said they had a special relationship with the company and actually gave us free charms and helped us with transportation to the store. I bought a Ring from Tanzanite International (part of the Diamonds International family. They had some pretty slick salespeople. They gave me a receipt but told me they would email me a copy of the valuation report which of course valued the ring at a much higher price than I paid. Valuation Report did not come. I called the company and after a real hassle I finally get the valuation report. It was more than $8,000 less than what they told me in the store. Wow. I take the ring to my Jeweler, he laughed at me and said it's a good thing it's a pretty ring because its not worth much! Ok. So I call and want to return the ring to this fraudulent company. They will take it back....for return, on line merchandise. Bottom line. I will never get any money back from this. Remember: You are getting a SALES PITCH from your cruise line not a guarantee.
