DGR Restored .30 Carbine

Update by user Sep 16, 2013 It appears that dean at DEANS GUN RESTORATIONS in JACKSBORO, TENNESSEE is not going to refund my $300.00. According to their web site he has sold the gun again. I hope the guy that bought it has better luck than me. I cannot believe that he would send out a firearm that was that badly misrepresented and then refuse to refund the customer !!! LET THE BUYER BEWARE Original review posted by user Aug 16, 2013 I bought a rebuilt, restored .30 Carbine from Deans Gun Restoration. The receiver was worn so much that the slide would not latch back and liked a Frog Hair from pulling out of the Receiver at any point. The back sight had been staked so many times it looked as though wood peckers had been at work there. When I returned it to DGR they assessed me a 20% restocking fee $300.00. The bottom line is that I the consumer lost over $400.00 on something that should not have been shipped to me in the first place. They new that the Receiver was worn out because they put the gun together from parts.
