Be sure to contact Better Business Bureau before doing business with any carpet cleaning company, and certainly do not use DFW Air Carpet Cleaning. Their web pages and invoice use the BBB logo. They are not and have not been affiliated with Better Business Bureau. DFW Air Duct & Carpet Cleaning is not registered with the State of Texas as required by law of every business operating in Texas. They used an ad for $74 for the "Whole House Package." This was just a case of "baiting and switching." When they got to my home, they informed me the job would not cover any treatment for mold, which I had requested when I set up the appointment. They denied that I had mentioned mold.They said the complete job would be $500. I was very upset; they then came down to $400. I needed the work done, so I told them I reluctantly would pay $400, but I was going to report the whole incident to Better Business, which I did. When mold flecks continued to fall from the vents, I made repeated calls to them. Finally, they came out, asked for the receipt where they had omitted any mention that they had done the mold treatment, which they finally had agreed to for the $74 price. Eran Ceivon, the technician, said he would make a call again from his truck, that I should call the office. When I did, I immediately was repeatedly called a liar, that I had said I had paid $500, a statement I never made. When I went out front to tell Eran, he had already driven off. I submitted my complaint to Better Business, and DFW Air Duct & Carpet Cleaning replied with slanderous and fallacious statements about me and my integrity.
