Have a KitchenAid smooth top that has one burner not working. Called KitchenAid extended warranty 12/28/2020. A tech was scheduled for 1/4/2021 and diagnosed the problem, however, the part is not available nationwide. Regular weekly calls (hold time in excess of 45 minutes) to AIG warranty results in stall tactics, as they cannot find the part to fix the issue.Shop around The warranty has a buyout after 45 days but was informed today (2/10/2021) it is at their discretion. Pretty poor NO SERVICE. Shop around and read reviews concerning AIG slow or no response, I wish I had. User's recommendation: Read reviews before you purchase.
