In December of 2017 I purchased a set of replacement headlights for my 2011 Toyota online from Pro Tuning Labs for $180. I received the headlights about a week later and had them installed by a body shop in the first part of January 2018 for $340. Several days after the headlights were installed they suddenly stopped working while I was driving. I had the body shop that installed the headlights check them the next day and they found both headlights were burned out. The headlight is constructed of plastic and one of the bulb sockets had also started to melt. The body shop repaired the damage and replaced the bulbs at a cost of $56. About 4-5 weeks later I noticed that the front lens on one of the headlights had started to melt. I contacted Pro Tuning Labs by phone and their representative told me they had had problems with those particular headlights and asked me to contact their customer support. I contacted their customer support by email and advised them of the problems I had been having. They said they didn’t manufacture the headlights and they would have to contact the manufacturer to obtain a refund. After several days the customer support told me they would not give a refund because it was past their 30 day return policy. I checked online and found a large number of similar complaints from other customers of Pro Tuning Labs. The headlights that I purchased are a definite hazard and safety concern. They are clearly dangerous and Pro Tuning Labs continues to sell them even though they know they are defective.
