Awful customer services

I ordered an outdoor dining set a few weeks ago. When they arrived 1 of the four chairs, the table and the parasol were all damaged. I called CS and they said they would organise a pickup for the damaged items. They also confirm they had replacements for the items I needed replaced. The broken items were collected and then I received an email to say replacements had been ordered and to expect delivery in 7 working days. 7 working days came and went, along with the sunshine, still no replacements. I chased them up and 4 days later received a message to say the items are out of stock, they won't be able to replace, they want to arrange collection of the other items and issue a refund. This is NOT the way you treat customers. Do not LIE on two occasions and say replacements have been ordered when they have not. no not LIE and say they will be with me in 7 days. If they had been upfront in the first place I would have been annoyed but I could have worked around it, ordered another set, enjoyed the sunshine rather than waiting several weeks to be lied to. I was a regular homebase shopper, that will no longer be the case and I won't be encouraging others to either
