I consulted Dr. Bennett about my concerns for having my dog put under general anesthesia for a mere dental check and blood work and he said he could do it without having her knocked out completely since she's old and a Pekingese ... it turned out he did knock her out, charged me for sedation and CBC, Thyroid check, exam and urinalysis (which is what I wanted) yet when the test results came back from the lab he said they could not run the CBC panel and would not charge him for it and therefore he would reimburse me the charge I paid him for the CBC (and that's what I wanted most of all, to see if her kidneys are ok) He also said he'd have Angela (his front desk person) send me the check and a copy of the lab report ... I received the check but not the lab report and when I asked about it, Angela got very indignant saying: "He already reimbursed you the money for the lab that came out of his pocket..." and started to be very argumentative with me. I could not believe my ears having worked in customer service most of my life...I told her that it will cost me more money too since I have to get my dog sedated again to do the lab works I did not receive and she said: "it's not our fault..." and proceeded to upset me with her rudeness and lack of accountability ... I will never ever go back again, mostly because of her because I could have dealt with Dr. Bennett, but if the staff is rude, I have no desire to go back again. Maybe that's what they wanted in the first place. Good luck and good riddens to Adel Animal Hospital in Adel, Georgia!!! By the way, I read several reviews on various places (i.e. Yahoo) where other people are equally upset with the treatment they got from the staff.
