We scheduled an appointment with A&E to have our GE refrigerator repaired. We had to go with them because GE contracts with them for their extended warranties. The time of arrival for a tech was between 8:00am to 5:00pm. They said there was no way to give a more specific time. We stayed home the entire day waiting for someone to show up. At 4:30pm I called their 800 number. The rep told me they would send a message for the tech to call me. No one did. The next day I called to lodge a complaint and was told the tech came to the house and no one was home! I asked what time the tech said he "showed" up and they wouldn't or couldn't give me the time. They didn't show up then lied about it. I don't want these people working on my appliances. I'll find a more reputable company to repair my appliance and pay for it myself. Learn from my mistake and don't purchase an extended warranty on a GE appliance if A&E is the ones who handle the repairs.
