This Insurer is corrupt beyond description. We had been high-end, good paying customers for more than 5 years. We had the unfortunate event of hiring a rogue builder who stole more than $295,000 from us, and left us with more than $200,000 worth of damages to repair. We repaired all damages out of pocket! Our misguided and downright *** Broker, BK International, told us to file our insurance claim with Chubb to get reimbursed rather than chasing after the rogue builder's secondary-lines insurer [means they are for the low quality people, much like being in an auto insurance pool for bad drivers who cannot get insurance]. Well, the worst in Chubb revealed itself in spades. They sent us a letter telling us that our policy was discontinued! Unbelievable. The BK Broker turned into Satan in woman form. She laughed into the phone after we called her furious at this terrible behavior. She did nothing whatsoever to contact Chubb and yell at them for dropping perfectly good customers. We abandoned fighting with these two evil entities. We went ahead and negotiated with the secondary-lines insurance company from the rogue builder, and settled for 'pennies' on the dollar. We then abandoned any further dealings with BK international and with "F" deserving Chubb. We then had the sense to find a quality MUTUAL insurance carrier, and dealt with them directly. We got better coverage, better service at a lower price altogether. Do NOT trust the Golf Course begotten "A" rating from Chubb. They are totally corrupted with terrible servicing and drop perfectly honorable and high end customers rather than pay on claims that are able to be Subrogated with the responsible carrier. This also applies to their Auto Insurance. Be aware. Take action and protect yourself from corrupted, monolithically overgrown insurance corporations.
