Pillows were great until we washed them the first time. We used Seventh Generation laundry soap, no fabric softener or bleach (we have allergies and asthma so we don't even have these products in our home). After washing and drying (4 drying cycles) there is a terribly strong chlorine smell emanating from the pillows. We can no longer use them as it's triggering asthma attack. Needless to say we won't be buying again or recommending to anyone!
