Cheating Poor People on Disabiliy
About a year ago, I changed my subscription from the daily Courier Journal in Louisville, KY to the online digital access only @$4.99/month. I was never told that the price would increase after 12 months and was hit with a $10.59 charge to my debit card! I immediately contacted the CJ subscription line and was connected to a call center in India who gave me fake names like "Jennifer" & "Sue". Both assured me that the charge would not go through (which it did) and I would be reimbursed in 7-10 business days (which I have'nt). They lied to me, even the Supervisor I asked for "Marco" stated the reimbusement would occur. Now, I see some ridiculous new statement that any balance over $10 would be reimbursed. Conniving, where's my 59cents then?! I'm at a loss. If anyone knows an actual contact that could help me sort this out. I'm on disability and every penny helps!
