Pentair makes some cheap pool crap. I wish I had read other reviews first! I have a brand new sand filter and the clamp busted putting it on. My old Jacuzzi filter bolts right to top. No stupid flimsy clamp to break. Pentair uses a cheap clamp that cracks very easily. Tried to reach, phone busy, just ordered part on Amazon so I could get it here quickly and get the pool going since everything else is up. What good would it do if they sent the part anyway since it would be several days and I'm sitting here with a new pool that needs the get the water circulating. Oh, and the valve on top feels like it will probably break in a year. It weighs about 1/5th what my old Jacuzzi valve weighs. I just have no faith in Pentair since they used such a *** clamp on top.
