Charging payments for a closed account

we paid off a loan. Money Tree sent an electronic check through our bank on the closed account one week later. The payment was returned due to lack of funds. The repeated submit three times! We contacted Money Tree and were informed that the late payment fee was still being charged to the closed account and that they refused to correct the error. The false charges overdrew our account even more. The supervisor was extremely rude when we attempted to get them to correct the error. There claim is that we are responsible to have funds in the bank even though the account for the loan was paid off earlier. Money Tree is just one of the "Quick Loan" companies that do this sort of bad faith business. I wouldn't suggest them to anyone even my worst enemy. I suggest that any potential customers refer to a lawsuit filed against money tree and executives by creditors. It will definitely open your eyes. unfortunately, this form does not have provisions for a minus rating.
