Charged for me for an overage that never happened.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! I removed drywall and wood paneling from a small kitchen and a bedroom and rented a 20 yard dumpster with a 3 ton weight limit. I did not fill the dumpster even half full but I received and overage charge for 7.74 tons at a cost of $425.00 and a total cost of $834.00. The overage invoice stated that I had a 2 ton limit and the total weight was 9.74 tons. To put this weight in perspective it would take approximately 400 sheets of drywall or 3 Toyota Corollas to equal it. When I brought this to their attention they said they will need to get a weight ticket and that it would take 7 to 10 days but that it is "usually right". I asked if they were verifying inaccurate information wouldn't they get the same wrong answer? They just stone walled and insisted it would be accurate. They must be the only company in the history of the world to never be wrong. I am beyond frustrated and apparently have very little recourse.
