Charged double than what was quoted
I asked Cross Country Moving & Storage, Inc. to move my household items from one house to another about 3 miles away. except a few pieces of furniture everything was already boxed. yet the company managed to charge more than 100% of the costed labor costs for packaging. in addition i charged more hours that what was spent and it also charged fuel as a percentage of total costs rather than e.g. distance. finally, they added another hour moving costs a week after the deliver and never paid the deposit back. if you want to save you some trouble avoid this company.
