I am a very loyal Subaru person. I just leased by 5th Subaru. It is a 2020 Forester limited. I have had to replace windshields with my previous Subaru vehicle. It cost around $100.00 However, this time it cost me $961.00!!!!!!! I expect to be told about these types of changes with I'm leasing the car. My insurance wouldn't cover it due to the high cost. Since I'm leasing the vehicle, I don't feel I should have to pay the additional money due to how Subaru has changed what things are connected to the windshield. This is certainly not the way to treat your customers. Normally, I give Subaru very good reviews. However, that has now changed. I would like to be reimbursed for the additional $861.00. It's not my fault that you now have things hooked up to the windshield. . User's recommendation: Be sure to find out if the new Subaru you recently bought/leased can have a front windsheild replaced for the normal cost of around $100.
