I signed up for a year membership with Camp Gladiator in Charlotte in spring 2017. I throughly enjoyed it but decided to not renew my membership because of some financial constraints and things in other areas of my life that were interfering with me being able to attend. This was back in April. My last payment, according to the person I talked to at headquarters, was May. Well it turns out they never actually canceled my membership. How did I find this out? I just got an email about an overdrawn account in the amount of $69. On top of that I got hit with a $35 overdraft charge. And it turns out CG withdrew money in June and July as well. And I had to pay a $10 penalty from my savings account in order to withdraw money to deposit into my checking account. So essentially I’m about $240+ in the hole because CG did not follow through with my request to not renew my membership. I always loved the trainers and my reasons for not renewing were due to issues in my personal life. But now I’m just bitter and livid. Simply livid.
