Cengage is terrible and non-functional
1
Cengage attempts to protect the IP of their client base by *** over students. Realistically, there is no reason why, when I (via my university) pay hundreds of dollars to get access to an online course I cannot use the book that the course requires. If I paid thousands of dollars for a course, and then hundreds more for the Cengage add-on why can't I actually use the book that comes with the package. Students and universities are not Cengage's clients, their clients are the bloated textbook publishers who have an interest in preventing anyone from actually gaining anything of value from the books they publish. User's recommendation: Avoid these parasites at all costs.
