cd player in new ford explorer
1
The cd player in my 2018 ford explorer has never operated properly. I purchased the car new from glenn polk ford here is gainesville, texas, about a year ago and now have almost 6, 000 miles on it. Well within the warranty period! I have had two loaner cars while polk tried to fix my cd player. It still does not work properly. I have tried playing old cd's, new cd's, etc.. It still does the same thing with either... Quits playing after a few minutes or skips to a different track of its own choosing. The "skip to next track" feature will take you to any track it chooses or just stops playing for 2 or 3 minutes then returns to the previous track or to track 1. Glenn polk's "radio man" only works on thursdays. He (or she) apparently tries to repair cds or installs refurbished ones. I paid for a new car. I paid to have a new workable cd player in that car. Why can't I exercise my warranty and get a new replacement cd player??? Who would expect tohave a non-working cd play from day 1? Must I drive to another city, another dealer, to get satisfactory service? Please advise. Thank you Jim blankenship 1913 maplewood Gainesville, texas 76240 [protected] [protected]@sbcglobal.net
