Cause of Allergic Reaction?

I've had two experiences with a terrible rash around my eyes and upper lip in the past month. The only thing that I've changed in my skin and hair routine is that I starting using the Aveda Pure Abundance shampoo. I don't use any other Aveda products. I am wondering if the shampoo could be the cause of my eyes and upper lip rash. Has anyone else experienced this?
