Card charged but order does not exist

Used website to order. At the very end when I confirmed my order there was a message that the order could not be completed. I tried again, same problem. I checked my credit card and now there are two pending charges. I tried to call, but on hold too long or they were closed. Sent email and got a response that "Upon checking, there is no order created for that amount under your name and email address. The charge only shows that it is on hold but you were not charged for that order yet. It is a banking process wherein funds are put on hold when an order is made so when the time comes that the seller will collect the money, the funds will be available and it will help the cardholder to avoid overdraft fees. If the order did not push through, the funds being held will be put back on to your account. Depending on the bank's policy, it may take 24 - 72hours, again depending on the policy of the bank. If by any chance, the money is not put back on to your account, please contact your bank and send us a screenshot of the charge and we will together with your bank to have the funds put back on your account."
