Capitol City Nissan; they lied and wasted my time.
2
Capitol City Nissan I bought a car from Wayne, the next day the airbag light came up, the door locks stopped working and the driver side window would not roll down. He said he would take care of it and after one full week the car was still not fixed. I know used cars are AS IS but given the safety issue they appeared to care. Only that they just wasted my time. No one at Capitol City Nissan gave me an update or told me that after one week the issues were not resolved, so I just gave them back their loaner and picked up my car. It seems that the air bag light has been fixed, but I am not certain that it will inflate when needed. (No docs on it being fixed have been produced) The other issues were never a dressed. I do not know if I want to take the car back to them so they can fix the other things as I can't deal with the incompetence. Then when the temporary tag was about to expire, I texted Wayne who said he'd look into it. I emailed Jay who never replied. These individuals appear to be technology challenged, as they kept asking me for documents I emailed them in half a dozen occasions in 3 different formats. Anyway, the temporary tag expired so I went to them to get a renewal, according to Jay they cannot issue me a renewal. (I'm not sure I buy this) so I will have to go to the tag office myself. This of course could have been taken care of timely if they had responded to an email. Not difficult really. Wayne lied as he said he had checked the car, (and didn't notice the door lock didn't work?) he lied because he said the car had undergone a safety inspection (yet the faulty air bag was unnoticed), Jay simply pushes papers hangs up the phone on you and they both keep up with the "used car sales people" cliche. So yes, they "tried" to fix the wrongs but just wasted my time, did not deliver and created frustration. I strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere.
