Cannot get level or mini blinds to snap into brackets.

I just bought levelor mini blinds at Lowes and followed the instructions for inside mount and they will not snap in place. I called customer service but they could not give me any advice on how to resolve my problem but I could watch a video on line on how to install them. I did that but it didnt have a trouble shooting guide at the end. I am very disappointed with levelor and will have to return the blinds.
