Cannot get cover off to put batteries in Star Light Projector

The star light projector is a cheap piece of junk! I have tried every small screwdriver and cannot remove the cover to put the batteries in! The first person said he was transferring me to someone else. I held for over 20 minutes listening to annoying music...
