Cancellation not honored and collection notices

1

My 88 year old mother ordered an item and ended up on an autoship program. She paid for several shipments and then decided to call and cancel this program. She called more than once because the customer service kept trying to talk her out of it and frustrated her. Then she put it in writing multiple times and sent it off to them. They sent another shipment. She called and wrote again. They sent yet another shipment. They clearly got the info that she canceled because they finally stopped sending product and charging her charge card. She went to her bank to dispute the charges for two items. The bank investigated and reversed the charges. Bradford started sending bills and now threats to send her to collections. For $120! She got frustrated to tears and asked me to help her. I have been trying to reason with BE. They just keep insisting they haven't received the payment, so they cannot clear the acct. Duh...she is not paying for products she asked them not to send!! She lives on $600 a month income. They refuse to be reasonable. It is unconscionable.
