Update by user Jun 26, 2020 We have never been contacted by Stanley Steamer after this review was sent to resolved issue. Apparently they do not care about resolving issues with their customers. We will never recommend them to others as well will not use their services again. Original review posted by user May 27, 2020 I had Stanley Steemer clean my carpet, and they put nicks and deep gashes in my baseboard of my staircase. Customer service was contacted to make a complaint and to ask for compensation for damages. Stanley Steemer sent their insurance company to handle the case. The adjuster came looked at the damages to the baseboard on the staircase. The insurance company called saying that the damages were not consistent to damages caused by Stanley Steemer. They will not compensate. As well, they would not even provide us with a copy of the report. Stanley Steemer used an insurance company by the name of Corvell. The call was from a restricted number and the person on phone name Matthew Dippel, was rude and arrogant. User's recommendation: Do not use Stanley Steemer for carpet cleaning.
