California Institute of Jewelry Training
Lies and very deceitful. Overpriced and not honest. Instructors cannot give clear answers and owner does not disclose teachers credentials. Invoices are not filled out correctly and have to be re-done. They melt down silver coins to practice with in a dirty classroom. Most students are from out of state or on disability and do not go on to becoming an apprentice. The instructors are previous teachers and have no real world jewelry experience. Only what Dee tells them. Specialty classes are taught from jewelers that she meets at trade shows. There is no campus housing. It is a house that you rent from Dee. They do not weigh their metals correctly and safety is overlooked. The school is not an accredited school. There are real schools. This is not one of them.
