I purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer from Costco July 2020. It was delivered on July 8th. We also purchased the Allstate 4 year extended warranty from Costco when the Whirlpool 2 year warranty expires . It stopped working and would turn off and on and flash multiple codes when I could get the power to turn on March 2021 . I contacted Costco and they set up a service provider to come out . That appt took 2 weeks . Once the repairman reported the parts needed and was told it could be two weeks to get the part in and they would contact me to set up the repair once they received the part . This washing machine is barely 8 months old . I called back to Costco and explained the repair service company basically told me it could be another two weeks if not longer . Constitution contacted Whirlpool abs they said they would 2 day Fed-Ex the part. What Whirlpool was not forth coming to explain they didn't even have a part located or know when they could find one . I found this out a week and half later when I called the service provider to check status on the part . They had no record or tracking number on the part . I spent over 2 hours on the phone with Costco going back k and forth w whirlpool and finally I asked Costco to conference call me with whirlpool . They said they had 21 days to locate a part . I told them this was unacceptable because that meant it could be another 3 week before the repair . It has been 5 weeks since I've had a working washing machine that is 7 months old ! I asked to speak with a supervisor at this point and they told me there was non readily available and a supervisor call back request was then made and I could expect 24-48 hours to get a call . That is my current status as of today ! April 7, 2021 !
