Purchased a home from century communities about a month ago. Land was on a slope. Brought concerns to management letting them know that the land was on the very steep slope and they said they would take care of it. With all the back and forth of trying to finally close it was something that they basically pushed underneath the rug. We have now moved in. My husband tried to cut the grass and literally fell down the hill because it is too steep. I tried to even get vendors to come and cut the grass professionally for us but everyone has refused our Account. When I called Century the only thing they’re offering is Pineneedles for the grass not to grow. I cannot understand how an engineer hascokayed this property as deemed safe when it’s not . you basically should not ever let a child go in the yard until you’re able to raise this lot to at least a safe environment. No one moves in the house expecting to make that sort of expense when all of this was discussed prior . huge disappointment and I wish they would Offer more than just Pineneedles when we have a land that is deemed unsafe. If I could at least have been able to pay a professional to cut the grass I wouldn’t even make it such a stink but to not even be able to get a professional that wants to take a chance down this hill is a disgrace. no property should be sold in this manner. This companies focus needs to be about their customers happiness so that they canto continue to grow their business. I know reviews come from everywhere but please consumers BEWARE!!! and do not take this lightly please .Be really clear before you close on your home ,touch every single base check every corner check every lot and make sure that you do it thoroughly because century will not do anything but offer you something that cost them nothing. They are as desperate to sell to make their money back as you are to purchase and close so TAKE YOUR TIME AND BE THEROUGH WITH EVERTHING AND HAVE EVERYTHING IN WRITING OR EMAIL!!! No CHILD or ADULT IS SAFE IN THIS YARD . Your death call is 5 feet away
