Good day I am writing to Spar as I was extremely unsatisfied with the way Parklane Spar handled my experience with your buttercream doughnuts. On the 02 February 2017 I had purchased a buttercream doughnut from Parklane Spar. When I was on my way from work I decided to eat it and when I halfway through the doughnut I looked at it an there was a cockroach in the doughnut cream... I was utterly disgusted and through it back in the box and spat and spat. I almost smashed my car as the shock and anxiety I felt. My boyfriend then took the doughnut back to the shop and the manager on duty asked if we want another one??????Like really!!! He then asked if we want out R5 back. He then said there is nothing else he can do. The same night I called a number on the website, I cant remember the name of the person. She apologised and promised to call me the next day. The next day I received a call from someone at the Spar and the apologised and promised to send a voucher. They had given me a R50 voucher from them. I feel like they did not handle the situation in a proper manner. I will never purchase anything from that shop again.
