Broken TV and useless warranty

After 7 months of ownership, my TV screen began to deteriorate. Customer support claims it is physical damage to the screen and not covered. They suggest I contact the retailer or extended warranty company to try to get them to fulfill TCL's warranty obligations. Bizarre! This TV was never moved or had anything other than normal use. Apparently it is a very fragile product. User's recommendation: Don't buy TCL TV's, but if you do, understand that you effectively have no warranty.
