Broken and “unavailable” order

Update by user Jan 04, 2019 Update: I called customer service again after a week, replacement item had not shipped yet, so I put a cancel on the order. They shipped it anyway, it took a week plus to arrive... after Christmas, so too late. I could return the item, but would be charged ADDITIONAL $6.50 shipping, on top of the original shipping I already paid, making it a net loss for me.Maybe the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. Original review posted by user Dec 05, 2018 I have shopped World Market before, both online and in store, with no issues. Recently, I placed an online order for three items. Two of the items shipped nearly a week later. A few days after that, I got an email saying they are cancelling part of my order, item was not available (despite being IN STOCK on the order page). It took nearly two weeks for the other two item to arrive from NC to NM, and they charged me sales tax on both items. The carton was well-padded with bubble wrap and air pillows, yet one item was completely shattered. There is NO WAY it was unbroken before shipment. I called customer service, the agent was nice but was difficult to understand. They are shipping a replacement item, but cannot put a rush or priority on it, and cannot estimate a shipping or delivery date.
